The IDEA Team

Our internal volunteer group, IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Awareness), plays a central role in shaping a more inclusive workplace. IDEA works across the organisation to drive initiatives that strengthen belonging and ensure diversity is embedded in our everyday practices.

HR & Recruiting Initiatives

Through our HR and recruitment processes, we actively uphold inclusive and equitable practices by:

  • Assessing and reviewing internal policies and procedures

  • Refining guidelines that promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace

  • Strengthening inclusive practices across attraction, interviewing, selection, hiring, and onboarding

  • Involving a broad cross-section of Fenwick staff in recruitment activities

  • Exploring new and diverse talent pipelines

Community Involvement

We believe in building a more diverse tech ecosystem by engaging with the communities around us. Our involvement includes:

  • Connecting with university and high-school communities

  • Promoting careers in STEM and opportunities at Fenwick

  • Encouraging more women to pursue STEM pathways

  • Sponsoring, attending, and hosting events that elevate women and underrepresented groups in STEM

External Partnerships

Fenwick actively partners with student organisations such as Women in Tech at QUT University and Women in Tech at the University of Melbourne, contributing through events, panel discussions, mentorship, and on-campus engagement.

We are also proud sponsors of Diversity in Dynamics, the industry’s leading diversity-focused group, supporting broader efforts to drive representation and equality within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.
