Who we are

Fenwick is an Australian technology consultancy that helps enhance business internal systems using Microsoft systems with a focus on ERP.
  • Founded in 1976
  • 60+ people across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane
  • One of Australia’s most experienced Microsoft Solutions Partners

What’s a Microsoft Solutions Partner?

It means Microsoft recognises Fenwick as a trusted expert in designing, building, and supporting business systems using Microsoft technology, specifically Dynamics 365 Business Central. We work closely with Microsoft and stay ahead of new tools and platforms.

What’s in it for you

  • Start your career working with real clients and real systems from day one
  • Get structured training, mentoring, and clear career progression
  • Work with Microsoft technology used by medium–large Australian businesses
  • Join a tight‑knit team where most leaders started as grads themselves
  • Build experience that looks genuinely impressive on your CV

What we do

We help medium to large businesses (typically $10m–$500m+ turnover) replace spreadsheets and clunky systems with one connected platform.

Specifically, we:
  • Implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (finance, supply chain, sales, reporting – all in one system)
  • Build and sell our own Fenwick Apps on Microsoft’s global AppSource marketplace
  • Partner with specialist software providers (e.g. mobile warehouse solutions)
  • Use Power BI to turn data into dashboards that decision‑makers actually use
  • Help clients grow by making their systems faster, smarter, and scalable
You won’t just “support IT”, you’ll see how technology directly impacts how businesses operate.

Growing talent from the ground up (this really matters to us)

This isn’t a marketing line, it’s how we’ve built Fenwick.

The proof:
  • 80%+ of our team started as students or graduates
  • 65+ graduates and students have joined Fenwick since 2000
  • 6 university partnerships across 3 states
  • 6‑year average tenure (people stick around)
Many of our senior consultants and leaders started in graduate roles and grew their careers here.

Career progression

We’re big on progression, not pigeon‑holing.

A typical journey might look like:
  • Graduate Consultant / Developer – learn the systems, shadow projects, get certified
  • Consultant – own parts of client projects, work directly with customers
  • Senior Consultant – lead implementations, mentor grads, influence solution design
We support this with:
  • A structured onboarding program
  • Ongoing training and Microsoft certifications
  • Mentoring from people who’ve been in your shoes
Top stat: A large portion of our leadership team started their careers at Fenwick as graduates.

What the roles actually look like day‑to‑day

Consultant

  • Work with real clients to understand how their business runs
  • Configure and improve Microsoft systems that handle millions of dollars
  • Help clients save time, reduce errors, and scale
Example: One of our grads helped redesign a client’s inventory process, reducing manual work and improving stock accuracy across multiple warehouses.

Developer

  • Build apps and extensions used by businesses across Australia (and globally)
  • Work with modern Microsoft tech and real‑world data
  • See your code used in live production systems
Example: A Fenwick developer built sustainability and Power BI reporting used by enterprise clients and worked directly with Microsoft stakeholders.

Tech Services

  • Keep client systems secure, stable, and performing
  • Solve real problems, not textbook scenarios
  • Learn how large‑scale business systems operate in the real world

Marketing

  • Create content and campaigns that explain complex tech in simple ways
  • Work closely with consultants, developers, and leadership
  • See the impact of your work on brand growth and lead generation

Why grads choose Fenwick

  • Real projects, not busywork
  • Clear learning and progression
  • Exposure to large‑scale, high‑impact systems
  • A team that invests in you long‑term
If you’re curious, motivated, and want a career where you can actually see your impact, Fenwick is a great place to start.
