Traineeship Program

Our Ivory Group Traineeship Program is designed to introduce you to the process of recruitment and familiarise you with the core principles of recruitment and consulting. It also ensures we are able to prepare you for long term success and retention in your recruitment career.

This Program begins with in-depth theoretical learning, then transitions to allow for a high level of practical learning by way of observation, reflection, and reporting. During this program your core skills will be developed, significantly assisting you to grow both professionally and personally.

Our Traineeship Program is broken down into four stages, each of which will see you being mentored, guided, and trained by some of our most experienced and industry leading Consultants. Our goal is to ensure you are able to walk into each day better than you did the day before, both throughout our program and beyond.

  • Stage 1: Comprehensive Induction Program

You will be taken through our comprehensive induction program where you will be trained over a 4-6 week period by our highly skilled team on both the soft and hard skills required to succeed in recruitment.

  • Stage 2: Developing your Practical Skills

Here you will have the opportunity to turn your theoretical learnings into practical skills. You will not only have the opportunity to shadow and observe the recruitment process being executed live by our team, but you will also conduct numerous role plays on the main practical elements of our recruitment process.

  • Stage 3: Completing your Go-To-Market-Plan 

You will officially be allocated to your new recruitment desk and mentor. This stage will see you complete an in-depth Go-To-Market-Plan where you can expect to learn everything there is to know about your market.  

  • Stage 4: Going Live on your Desk

It is now time to put everything you have learned into action. Here you will officially begin recruiting on your desk and will become a reputable name in your given market. With the continued support of your mentor and surrounding team, together with your drive and motivation to succeed, you can expect to begin achieving some great accolades early on.

Eligibility

  • Must be available to work full time, Monday to Friday
  • Open to consider Candidates from all degree backgrounds, whether degree completion has been achieved yet or not
  • Open to consider Candidates of all Working Rights which do not restrict one’s ability to work full time
  • Exposure to recruitment and/or corporate sales is advantageous, but not a necessity
