2027 Computer Science Graduate Program - Cybersecurity (NSW)

As a Cybersecurity Graduate, you will:

  • help solve our client’s most critical and complex cybersecurity issues;
  • work with large organisations to help them understand their cyber threat landscape and risk exposure;
  • assist on cyber litigation matters relating to some of Australia’s largest data breaches;
  • support cybersecurity client engagements that align with your interest and skillset; and
  • work with a diverse and global cybersecurity team

FTI Consulting offers both technical and non-technical cybersecurity services to our clients and is seeking candidates with both technical and non-technical backgrounds.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with the analysis of cybersecurity client engagements as needed and as directed by a senior member of the team;
  • Prepare deliverables such as draft reports, presentations, and risk assessment tailored to client’s needs;
  • Join client meetings to learn how to manage stakeholders and note-taking; and
  • Conduct relevant research, data gathering, and analysis relevant to the engagement.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or an equivalent degree
  • Strong interest and passion for cybersecurity
  • Strong academic record
  • Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and motivation to succeed
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
  • Ability to interface with team members and client personnel in demanding, deadline-driven situations
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), and organisational skills
  • Flexibility with respect to assigned tasks and engagements due to challenging deadlines, changing deliverables, evolving task priorities, and willingness to travel
  • Proficiency with basic professional tools such as the Microsoft Office suite
  • This role will require travel to clients and FTI offices
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
