Software Quality Assurance & Testing - Program Benefits Delivery & Outsourcing

The Programme

Our Intern Programme is designed for penultimate-year and final-year university students.

It is currently expected that the duration of the internship will be six months.

We operate a hybrid working environment (i.e. a mixture of working in the office and at home). In order to get the most out of the Intern Programme at WTW, you will be expected to come into the office at least one day each week.

In addition to the scheduled in-office training and meetings about projects and client work, this will give you the opportunity to learn from your more experienced colleagues, as well as getting to know your fellow interns.

An internship at WTW will give you valuable real-world experience. It will enable you to apply your education in an environment that is both intellectually challenging and rewarding. At the end of your time with us, you will have a greater understanding of what we do and how closely our career offerings match your career ambitions.

As a Software Quality Assurance and Testing intern, you will enhance your core skills and expand your knowledge in software testing and quality assurance through hands-on experience in identifying and analyzing bugs and errors. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Developing and implementing tests to identify software issues prior to product launch.
  • Identifying and analyzing bugs and errors discovered during the testing phase and documenting them for subsequent review.
  • Executing test cases, reporting results, and collaborating with the QA team to ensure that quality standards are met.
  • As an intern in the Benefits Delivery and Outsourcing team, you’ll need a basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and be a great team collaborator.
  • Mentored by experienced leaders in the Benefits Delivery and Outsourcing team, this role offers an excellent opportunity for learning and potential full-time employment.

Learning and Development

We provide continuous professional development to all our colleagues.

For interns specifically, we provide:

  • An induction process where you can learn what our business does, what resources are available, and who the other new interns are.
  • On-the-job experiences allowing you to see the immediate impact of your work.
  • Opportunities to work on a diverse range of projects with experienced professionals.

Required Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate is a penultimate-year or final-year university student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, and is willing to participate in a full-time internship program for 3 months.

A basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process is required, and experience in programming and software testing is advantageous.
