1. Planning, preparing and delivering English lessons (writing, comprehension, verbal reasoning, and thinking skills etc) to groups of students in Y2-Y6

2.Teaching according to the educational needs, abilities and achievement of the students

3. Teaching, assigning and correcting writing homework online

4. Minimal preparation is required, as most of teaching materials will be provided, including teaching guidelines, parts of student homework and test paper.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Excellent understanding of selective school test, selective class/OC and scholarship test
• A minimum of 1 year working as a teacher or tutor in English
• Native English speaker
• Studied En an Australian Secondary college
• Demonstrated classroom strategies including behavioural management and lesson planning
• Ability to support students through differentiation to meet individual learning needs
• Excellent collaborative skills, including the ability to work with parents, students and colleagues
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for teaching
• A responsible team player
• Working With Children Check

Desirable:

A qualified teacher OR process/be currently working towards a relevant teaching qualification in primary/ secondary education OR Certificate III/ IV in Education Support OR a bachelor degree/higher degree in English
