Prior Law

Prior Law is a suburban and regional law firm with offices in East Bentleigh, McKinnon, Leongatha, Korumburra and Morwell. While grounded in local communities, we act for clients across Victoria.

We are seeking law graduates to join our 12 month Supervised Workplace Training program, designed to satisfy the training requirements for admission as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of Victoria.  Applicants who have completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice are also eligible to apply for the Graduate program on the understanding that completion of our program will be an integrated training experience alongside their peers. 

Graduates rotate through:

• Commercial
• Wills & Estates
• Property
• Criminal & Family
   

Our Wills & Estates and Property Law teams are led by Accredited Specialists. Our program provides early exposure to live matters, client interviews, court attendances (where appropriate) and direct supervision from experienced practitioners. At least one rotation will be completed in a Gippsland office, providing valuable regional practice experience.

We look for graduates who demonstrate sound judgement, commercial awareness and common sense. Strong academics are important, but we value professionalism, work ethic and clear communication just as highly.
