We're seeking motivated and innovative individuals to join us on the 2025 – 2026 Summer Intern Program. You’ll not only gain insights into the banking and finance industry, but you'll also learn more about your own working style with a personal action plan. You’ll be provided networking opportunities and career coaching to determine what you want from your career and how to achieve it.

At the end of our program, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for and potentially receive an early offer for our Graduate Program in 2027.

Join our Private Wealth team

We are an integrated team of specialists from NAB Private Wealth, JBWere and Nabtrade, and are responsible for the seamless delivery of holistic banking, lending, wealth, and investment solutions to meet our client’s unique needs and ambitions, wherever they are in their lifecycle. The team unites with integrity, expertise, and passion to deliver exceptional advice to nurture and build enduring client relationships.

We provide expertise in the areas of:

• Wealth and investment strategies and services for high net-worth individuals, families, institutions and for-purpose organisations (JBWere)
• Private banking for high net-worth customers, retirees, investors, entrepreneurs and business owners (NAB Private Wealth), and
• Online share trading capability for self-directed investors (nabtrade)

This program stream is held in Melbourne and Sydney.

In this Private Wealth Intern role, you will:

• Utilise your understanding of financial markets and investments
• Deliver an outstanding level of service that is professional, compliant and high calibre
• Apply financial and business acumen to deeply understand our customer’s needs
• Build and create strong relationships
• Be provided with networking opportunities and an individual learning plan focussed on your future career goals
• Build employability skills to compliment your studies and current experience
• Attend structured learning and development workshops
• Be provided with daily leadership and exposure to projects and operational work

Key Dates

Our Summer Intern Program takes place from 24 November 2025 – 30 January 2026, and during this period you’ll need to be available for full time employment. However, this period does include two weeks of unpaid leave during NAB’s Christmas shutdown period which begins on Monday 22 December up until Friday 2 January 2026.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply, you must have:

• Australian or New Zealand citizenship or be an Australian Permanent Resident at the time of applying.
• You’ll need to be in your second last year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree and due to complete your degree by December 2026.
