We're seeking motivated and innovative individuals to join us on the 2025 – 2026 Summer Intern Program. You’ll not only gain insights into the banking and finance industry, but you'll also learn more about your own working style with a personal action plan. You’ll be provided networking opportunities and career coaching to determine what you want from your career and how to achieve it.

At the end of our program, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for and potentially receive an early offer for our Graduate Program in 2027.

Enterprise Data and Analytics teams are at the core of our business. We see data as the currency of the future. We unlock data to provide insights, drive impactful decisions, serve our customers better and transform our business.

Building internal data talent is a priority area for NAB as we position ourselves for the future. Customer expectations continue to rise as competition drives innovation. It’s the acceleration of how data is deployed that will help us create better customer experiences and deeper personalisation.

This program stream is offered in Melbourne.

In this Enterprise Data and Analytics Intern role, you will:

• Work with a diverse range of datasets and analytics to improve the customer experience
• Use your analytical capabilities to help make data driven
• Get exposure to advanced analytics and machine learning techniques
• Be provided with networking opportunities and an individual learning plan focussed on your future career goals
• Build employability skills to compliment your studies and current experience
• Attend structured learning and development workshops
• Be provided with daily leadership and exposure to projects and operational work

Key Dates

Our Summer Intern Program takes place from 24 November 2025 – 30 January 2026, and during this period you’ll need to be available for full time employment. However, this period does include two weeks of unpaid leave during NAB’s Christmas shutdown period which begins on Monday 22 December up until Friday 2 January 2026.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply, you must have:

• Australian or New Zealand citizenship or be an Australian Permanent Resident at the time of applying.
• You’ll need to be in your second last year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree and due to complete your degree by December 2026.
