The Programme

The student will be involved in a project to generate codes for our semiconductor testing test programs using Gen AI and support digitalization initiatives to improve efficiency in the department. 

In your new role you will:

• Assist in researching emerging AI technologies and methodologies.
• Support the development of AI models and algorithms under the guidance of senior team members.
• Collect, preprocess, and analyze datasets for training AI models.
• Participate in testing and validating AI models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Document research findings, methodologies, and results clearly and concisely.
• Present reports/findings for internal and external stakeholders.  

Internship learning outcomes:

• Greater understanding of the flow of semiconductor processes. 
• How Gen AI can be used to shorten test program development cycles.
• Enhance presentation skills to internal and external stakeholders.
• Be exposed to applications and enhance product knowledge. 

Required Skills and Abilities

• On track to attain Bachelor/Master in Electrical & Electronic / Computer Science / Data Science or Artificial Intelligence with a research-oriented mindset.
• Strong interest in AI and machine learning.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Basic understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
