Hozint - Horizon Intelligence

• Term: 4 or 6 months. Flexible hours;
• Workload: Part-time (4h/day) or full-time (8h/day); Week-days (Monday -Friday) or Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)

Main tasks

• Monitor and analyse international media in Africa, Americas, Asia/Pacific, Europe/CIS, Middle-East/North Africa;
• Monitor and analyse news concerning: Security, Politics, Economy, Energy/Mining, Safety, Cybersecurity;
• Write reports and background notes;

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s Degree or enrolled in an equivalent program (preferably in Political Science/International Relations/Economics);
• Excellent writing skills in English; additional languages considered as an advantage;
• Knowledge of current international affairs, including security, political and economic issues;
• Familiarity with at least one of these regions: Africa, Asia/Pacific, Americas, Europe/CIS, MENA;
• Flexibility and ability to work in a small but international structure;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Reliability and ability to work remotely;
• Dynamic and well-organised, with an eye for detail;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Superior computer skills and ability to web-edit is an asset;
