Your opportunity

Explore a career in Finance Advisory by joining one of our core client teams:

  • Restructuring Advisory
  • Corporate Finance
  • Forensic Consulting

Restructuring Advisory

Some organisations are so well established, it seems like they could never go out of business. But a failure to innovate, poor internal controls, a change in customer demands or external market conditions can rapidly cause a business to enter into financial distress or fail completely.

Formulating and executing a business restructure or turnaround strategy can be challenging for management. Our Restructuring Advisory team works closely with business owners, managers and lenders to identify and resolve issues affecting profitability, protect enterprise value and recover value.

Joining the Restructuring Advisory team as a graduate will see you:

  • preparing financial analysis or forecasting work papers
  • attending a client’s worksite
  • conducting investigations including review accounting records and supporting documentation
  • drafting reports for clients and/or regulatory bodies
  • liaising with banks, the ATO and key creditors
  • preparing for and attending creditor meetings.

Corporate Finance

Our Corporate Finance team works with clients through all stages of a transaction or investment, ensuring key decision makers have the right information to make informed decisions and maximise value.

Joining our Corporate Finance team as a graduate could see you work across all aspects of corporate finance, including:

  • Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
  • Due diligence
  • Valuations
  • Financial modelling.

Forensic Consulting

Complex legal proceedings, financial disputes and investigations are increasingly common and can prove a distraction to businesses and their leaders in driving strategy and achieving outcomes. They can also place considerable financial and reputational risk on businesses.

Our Forensic Consulting team works with our clients across all aspects of forensic consulting, including commercial litigation support, investigations and fraud and asset tracing.

Joining the Forensic Consulting team as a graduate will see you:

  • preparing accounting work papers
  • undertaking client, industry and sector research projects
  • reading and synthesising relevant case law and legislation
  • getting involved in business development activities, networking and professional development seminars
  • working on independent reviews on behalf of the Fair Work Commission or Fair Work Ombudsman.
