 EY-ROAM
Climate change is transforming the energy sector faster than ever before. Around the world, electricity systems are shifting towards a low‑carbon, decentralised future, creating new and complex challenges for governments, investors and energy companies.

EY‑ROAM is a leading electricity market modelling team in Australia. We help our clients make confident, evidence‑based decisions by analysing how electricity markets work today and how they may change in the future. Our work supports organisations across the energy sector, including renewable energy developers, investors, network providers, retailers, regulators and government departments.

Our team works on a wide range of projects, such as:

  • Analysing and forecasting electricity prices and risks for existing and new power stations
  • Assessing the impact of new transmission infrastructure on the electricity network
  • Exploring the role of energy storage technologies, including batteries, and how they perform in electricity and FCAS markets
  • Helping governments and consumers better understand residential electricity price trends
  • Examining how policy changes or new market rules could affect the future of Australia’s electricity market

You can learn more by visiting EY-ROAM student opportunities.
