About the role
An excellent opportunity exists for Allied Health Assistants to join the team at Eastern Health. Physiotherapy students who have completed at least two clinical placements are welcome to apply.
You will be responsible in assisting physiotherapists with their acute bed based patients as part of the physiotherapy surgical team in the provision of best practice patient care as well as non clinical duties that support the efficient operation of a busy weekend demand. These positions are currently based at Box Hill and Maroondah Hospitals on weekends. This is a great opportunity to build and develop your skills across the year
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
