Location Profile
Spotswood Primary School is a growing inner suburban school with an enrolment of approximately 290 students. Our motto 'everybody is somebody' reflects our community culture and we are proud of the partnerships we nurture with our families.
Staff are committed to developing an environment where everyone feels worthwhile, respected, confident and inspired to do their best. We want our students to be successful academically and socially and have high expectations of our learners.
We have a strong focus on our literacy and numeracy programs and are committed to developing student agency in our inquiry learning.
Staff work in PLCs supporting each other with planning and assessment, ensuring a school wide approach to improving student learning outcomes. We are committed to the School Wide Positive Behaviour Program in supporting students to learn how to be positive learners and citizens in our community.
This position may attract an incentive payment of $5,650 (pre-tax) for the successful candidate who meets the eligibility criteria set out under conditions of employment.
Conditions of Employment
All staff employed by the Department and schools have access to a broad range of employment conditions and working arrangements.
The appointment of successful applicants will be made subject to satisfactory pre-employment conditions check.
A probationary period may apply during the first year of employment and induction and support programs provided.
