This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced remedial massage therapist to join an established allied health wellbeing center in Preston, Victoria on a casual or part time basis.
Responsibilities:
Quality Care
- Plan remedial massage and massage therapy for allocated client caseload.
- Ensure effective interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Deliver best practice remedial massage therapy intervention to clients that meet the
- guidelines for remedial massage in Australia.
- Maintain a high level of clinical competence through ongoing education.
Sessions
- Wednesday 1.30pm-7.30pm
- Friday 11am-5pm
- and/or Monday 1.30pm-7.30pm.
Information Management
- Client documentation completed to adhere to documented guidelines.
- Health record management through the Employer’s software provider (Cliniko)
- Communication and Relationship Management
- Communicate effectively to share information and form relationships with clients.
- Liaise with management, administrative team and allied health associates in manner which promotes clients, families and community.
- Model effective interdisciplinary practice.
General Duties
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
- Adhere to documented guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and growth and liaise with management and team to facilitate.
- Identify and document benchmarked clinical best practice for area of service provision.
- Keep all clinical areas tidy and return them to the state they were on arrival.
- Restock massage supplies and assist with processing towels.
Qualifications and Experience
- A remedial massage qualification and registration with recognised body.
- Dry needling, cupping or pre/post natal training regarded highly.
Pay Rate
- Under Health Professionals & Support Services Award. Casual rate $43/hour. Part time rate adjuisted accordingly for superannuation and leave accruals.
