Graduate Urban Designer/Architect

The Programme 

We are looking for a highly motivated Graduate Architect/Urban Designer to join our newly established Cities, Planning and Design team in Manila. 

The position presents an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to work across a wide range of projects for both public and private sector clients as well as be involved in business development and further growth and establishment of the team.  

In addition to local projects, the candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects throughout the Southeast Asia (SEA) region.

The role is based in the Manila office.      

Your role in our team: 

  • Spatial analysis to understand project context and opportunities across various urban typologies. 
  • Support with the development of conceptual masterplanning and designs. 
  • Support with preparation and collation of imagery and diagrams for presentations and reports in PowerPoint, Indesign or other software. 
  • Visual presentation of analysis and ideas using hand sketches and various software including Autodesk drafting programs,
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), as well as 3D software such as Sketchup, Rhino, Lumion, Inscape, etc. 
  • Support to visual representation of concepts through other multimedia tools e.g. After Effects and Premiere 
  • You will work on defined tasks relating to the cities and transit development business with close supervision 
  • You will assist more experienced members of staff with the analysis of information, producing designs and presentations for submissions and bids in both the building and urban design disciplines. 
  • With supervision you will assist in the production of design documentation on live projects through various design stages 
  • You will be accountable for submitting a high quality of work that is accurate, which may take the form of drawings, presentations; reports; standard documentation, etc. 
  • You will be accountable for providing all information in an articulate and organized manner within the agreed timeframes.
