Accenture's Women in Tech Bootcamp

 Creating better spaces for People with Disabilities? Enabling businesses to use artificial intelligence to improve customer experiences? Helping households monitor and lower energy consumption? Just some examples of real-world problems you’ll get to solve using coding, artificial intelligence and other tech at Accenture's Women in Technology Bootcamp.

Be part of this fun, four-day immersive workshop open to university students across Australia studying STEM who are passionate about all things tech! Meet and collaborate with like-minded individuals, get hands-on training and learn from industry professionals and Accenture leaders. Check out this video for some real-life bootcamp stories.

What to expect

The Accenture Women in Technology Bootcamp gives you the opportunity to learn how to use the latest technologies to make a positive impact. You’ll pick up insider tips, tricks and ideas from industry experts and Accenture leaders, expand your knowledge from previous studies/training and collaborate on projects that make a difference!

The learning and experience you’ll gain will help you:

Flex your creativity
Explore unfamiliar technologies to create out-of-the-box solutions. Boost your skills and capabilities to do meaningful work in the real world.

Develop future-ready skills
Acquire real-world competencies and understand what it’s like to work at one of the top companies in the world. Your new skillset will also help you further your studies and personal projects.

Make connections
The bootcamp is a fantastic opportunity to meet friendly, like-minded people who enjoy experimenting with the latest tech as much as you do. Grow your network and kick-start long-lasting friendships and professional relationships.

A successful applicant will:

  • Be a university student in your penultimate or final year or have graduated no more than 1 year ago with a degree in STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) who are ready to engage in teamwork, along with other fun experiences along the way. 
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident.
  • Be a strategic and creative problem-solver who is quick to learn.
  • Be a strong communicator with leadership potential.
  • Be a team player who can build trusted relationships with colleagues.
  • Be available to attend the 4 day virtual Bootcamp from 1 to 4 July.
